What is RMX?
It all began when a small number of bullet enthusiasts gathered and started bullet clubs in different cities all over the country. These clubs were individual entities comprising of passionate individuals riding Royal Enfield motorcycles. This was the nation’s only motorcycling community which saw motorcycling as more than just an inexpensive way to commute.
The idea stemmed from the need to get all the bullet clubs in the country under one roof. An idea that was welcomed by the motorcycling community. Rider Mania 2003 first held in Goa started off with just 70 bikers. Over the years this figure has gone up to over 635 bikers attending Rider Mania 2009 in Ooty. RM sees riders of different ages and from different backgrounds all sharing the same passion of riding Bullets.
RM is the greatest and the biggest Bullet festival in India where bikers all across the country ride to meet fellow riders. It’s an event which has turned into a tradition. A tradition which usually sees most of us planning our leaves well in advance. Skimping on leaves so we may have some spare to ride to RM.
RM has grown explosively over the years and spread like wildfire throughout the Bullet community, purely through word of mouth and the efforts of the organizing club to further push the event to the next level. Rising from the grass roots to the multi-sponsor large scale arrangements seen at RM09 in Ooty, shows the support the motorcycling community has given to Rider mania.
Inddiethumpers is ushering in a new era in Indian motorcycling events with RM X. RM X already has over 500 confirmations even before registration started. In the months to come we expect this number to grow exponentially as we near the actual event date. We envisage this event to become the benchmark for all other biking events in the country in the coming years.
